Update on Jeffery 'PICKY' Wright

November 2006

It was only 5 months ago when a 14 year old active clubbite named Jeffery 'PICKY' Wright was diagnosed with a brain tumour and urgently needed desperate help financially and spiritually for a brain surgery.
Well, we have to say he was very fortunate that he was able to receive operations that saved his life. On behalf of Jeffery's family, the club would like to thank all the people who gave donations and gave him spiritual support. He is now out of the hospital, able to walk by himself and even started going to school! Still taking it easy, step by step each day. He is also taking therapy at home every Sunday. His progress is unbelievable that some people say "It is miracle!"
However, Jeffery's family still have remaining cost (J$600,000) to pay to the hospital. We ask and appreciate for your continuous finacial support.

Jeffery at the club recently

June 20, 2006

A 14 year old clubbite named Jeffery 'PICKY' Wright has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and urgently needs a brain surgery because the tumour is growing rapidly.
Estimated cost for his brain surgery is J$300,000. Plus J$35,000 per day for I.C.U. after surgery, plus other expenses also.
The Club has set a donation box for Jeffery, and so far J$18,295 has been contributed (as of June 19), mostly from the children who saved their lunch money to help their friend Jeffery, and also from visitors from PEACE BOAT that came to Montego Bay on June 11.
He desperately and urgently needs your help financially. Your assist in any way is greatly appreciated.
